A beautiful Easter Sunday.

When they looked up, they saw that the stone had been rolled back; it was very large. On entering the tomb, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed in a white robe, and they were utterly amazed. He said to them, "Do not be amazed! You seek Jesus of Nazareth, the crucified. He has been raised; He is not here. Behold the place where they laid Him. But go and tell His disciples and Peter, He is going before you to Galilee; there you will see Him, as He told you." Mark 16: 4-7

My sweet, handsome boy.

He loves his Gagi more than the stars.

Our family.

Liam with his cousins, Mackenzie and Audrey.

After church, Liam got to hunt eggs at home...and what a great time this was! Annie also enjoyed following behind him to sniff out the real eggs :)

And then it was off to Grandma and Grandpa's house for Easter dinner (but first, another egg hunt!).

Everyone waits patiently as Liam ("the baby") is allowed a head start :)

Eggs!

Kenzie sees one!

There goes Audrey!

Grandpa decides this is a perfect time to feed the fish...

Kenzie, Grandma, and Dorrie contemplate where the other eggs might be...

Liam takes a break to clean out Grandpa's pond.

Uncle J.T. helps Liam find the last egg :)

And now Liam is the Cat in the Hat :)

After dinner, the family surprised me with a wonderful birthday celebration. I was busy in the kitchen when suddenly, I hear the group start singing, "Happy Birthday" and honestly, I thought for a second, "Who are they singing to?" It's a week early (April 10th is my birthday), but, William had it right because I was actually born on Easter Sunday...

...and it was a perfect day.
